First thing in the morning, stand barefoot on the floor or ground and imagine roots coming out of your feet. Imagine the roots going deep down into mother earth, until it reaches a huge crystal in the center of the earth. See your roots growing around the crystal, embracing it. Now see mother earth sending you loving energy back, all the way up the roots, into your body.

You may then bring the energy into your first chakra, then 2nd, the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and then into your crown.  From there see your crown opening up and moving towards the Milky Way in the sky.  See your energy being greeted by the Universal energy and bring the energy stream back into you.  Fill your entire body with this energy.

You are now grounded and connected to all that is.
